Job Description:
A Massachusetts pharmaceutical company seeks a Toxicology
Scientist to plan, design, monitor and interpret toxicology
studies to support the development of new drugs and
formulations.
Prepare regulatory submissions to support registration
of company products.
Participate in and advise project teams on nonclinical
drug and formulation issues
Plan, conduct and interpret investigative nonclinical
in vivo and in vitro toxicology and mechanistic studies
to support drug development at company
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Ph.D. or D.V.M. with at least 3 years of post-doctoral
experience in in vivo toxicology
Knowledge/Skills Needed:
The candidate will be trained in principles of toxicology
and animal testing and will be knowledgeable in procedures
of drug development and registration. An interest in
biological research and investigation is essential and
should be supplemented by familiarity with current methods
and laboratory techniques used in toxicology and disease
investigation.
Personal Attributes Needed:
The candidate should be energetic and scientifically
capable of managing multiple unrelated programs. Sound
communication skills are essential. The candidate should
be willing to travel

Development Associate
A leading pharmaceutical company located in southern
California is seeking a Development Associate. This
position will be primarily responsible for the coordination
of In-house pharmacology, toxicology and pharmacokinetic
studies: review and implement study protocols, use techniques
to perform all aspects of the study or find the appropriate
personnel to assist; analyze, record results and conclusions
of laboratory experiments; summarize and interpret analytical
data; maintain lab notebooks and computer files; and
maintain a high level of technical skills, as appropriate,
to meet departmental goals and objectives. Study the
effects of chemical substances, vaccines, and proteins
on animals. Conduct toxicology studies of experimental
drugs in animals, analyzes and prepares reports of findings.
Conduct in vitro assays, as needed
Position requirements include experience working with
laboratory animals (rodents preferred), good communication
skills (both oral and written), interpersonal skills,
ability to work in a team environment, scientific analysis
skills, organizational skills, scientific technical
reading and writing skills and data analysis skills.
A bachelor's degree in life sciences (or related field)
is preferred but not required, and 4-6 years of relevant
pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience is preferred.

and communication skills along with problem-solving

Bio-Analytical Scientist/Senior Scientist
A well known pharmaceutical company located in southern
California is seeking a Bio-Analytical Scientist.
Position Summary:
Leads a team responsible for the development, characterization,
and performance of HPLC and LC/MS assays in support
of QC, pharmacology/toxicology, preformulation, and
drug discovery.
Responsibilities:
Specific duties will include:
o Development and characterization of HPLC and HPLC/MS
based assays:
o In support of preclinical pharmacology and toxicology
studies.
o In support of preformulation studies for cancer vaccines
and related products.
o In support of drug discovery program.
o Oversee maintenance of instruments
o Characterization and technology transfer of assays
to QC, including writing of SOPs and related protocols.
o Supervision of development associates
Requirements:
o PhD in Biochemistry or related (MS/BS candidates with
additional experience
will be considered.)
o Experience in developing and running HPLC and LC/MS
methods and
troubleshooting both methods and equipment required.
o 5 years of industrial experience
o Experience in GMP and QA documentation
o Strong written and verbal communication skills, computer
skills
o Experience working with capillary electrophoresis
desirable.
o Knowledge of ELISA, cell-based assays desirable.
o Experience supervising other employees desirable.

Scientist/Senior Scientist
A well known pharmaceutical company located in southern
California is seeking a Scientist to conceive, design,
implement, and execute specific scientific experiments
in the area of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and toxicology,
which contribute to the successful completion of goals
and/or projects under general guidance of supervisor.
Under general guidance of supervisor, the scientist
will design, executes, evaluate, and interpret experimental
strategies for in house and contracted studies. Provide
input to new processes to generate robust and reliable
data and ensure that studies are conducted in compliance
with the respective protocol and applicable guidelines
and regulations, including GLP. Scientist will keep
current in field of pharmacology, PK and toxicology.
Introduce advanced scientific methods when applicable.
May represent the department on project teams under
supervision of a senior scientific staff member. Advises
or assists others in experimental design and/or interpretation/diagnosis
of data and implementing innovative remedies. Independently
author scientific reports, summary documents, regulatory
documents (under guidance of supervisor). May develop
supervisory and mentoring skills. Develops and follows
timelines for completing project team work.
Job Requirements:
Position requirements include prior experience working
with laboratory animals (rodents preferred), good communication
skills (both oral and written), interpersonal skills,
ability to work in a team environment, scientific analysis
skills, organizational skills, scientific technical
