Senior Feild Sales
Analyst
Position Summary:
Evaluate the needs and concerns of the company in regards
to sales reporting to anticipate and resolve potential
sales force issues using the available analytical tools.
Will work closely with other analysts in the department
to make sure projects are completed in a timely manner
Position Scope:
Responsible for analyzing sales force realignment requests,
acting as liaison on sales force automation (SFA) issues,
designing and maintaining sales reports, and evaluating
third-party solutions for appropriate Sales Analysis
functions
Responsibilities:
Consult with District Managers and peers in Commercial
Operations to assist in identifying and defining strategic
sales and business issues requiring data analysis
·Responsible for the analysis, design, programming,
testing, implementation, documentation and ongoing maintenance
and support of programs and/or systems
·Executing of analytical plans and ad hoc analyses
to support the short-term tactical as well as long-term
strategic initiatives of the sales force
·Learning and applying a consistent standard
of analysis for application at each level of the sales
force
·Analyzing and interpreting environmental factors
that affect sales performance and make recommendations
to sales management.
·Compile and analyze sales metrics to measure
sales force performance to goals and productivity
·Communicate and define the data needs of Sales
Analysis, Field Management and Sales Force Automation
·Provide research and analytical support in answering
sales analysis questions from the field
·Provide answers to data, compensation, and sample
inquiries from the field sales force
·Maintain call activity reports and presentation
slides. Work closely with other members of the Sales
Operations Department in ensuring that available materials,
resources and methods of finding relevant call reporting
in formation are up to date and accurate
·Maintain existing sales reports and design new
reports as needed. Participate in the evaluation, selection,
and implementation of decision-support tools
Experience:
BS/BA required-field sales and MBA is a plus.
3-5 years pharmaceutical experience, preferably in field
sales or operations.
Experience in managing an SFA/CRM system in the pharma
industry.
Able to manage and communicate progress of several projects
at the same time
Experience with relational database management tools
and/or systems. Microsoft Access preferred.
