Controller
A pharmaceutical company located in Florida is seeking
an Assistant Controller to assist the Finance Department
and Controller in monthly and quarterly close of books
for the Division. This position will help ensure accuracy
of financial statements and further strengthen internal

This position will interact with all departments of
the Division (Manufacturing, Quality and Research and
Development). It will also interact with all levels
of corporate personnel. The position will be the main
contact for external auditors.
Primary Accountabilities:
Assists Finance Department in monthly and quarterly
close.
Analyzes Operation's costs and identifies ways to reduce
it.
Coordinates effort to improve/strengthen internal controls.
Supports Controller and senior management team on miscellaneous
projects on an as needed basis.
Job Requirements:
The individual must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
or Finance from an accredited college or university.
Individual should have 7 to 10 years experience in a
manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical experience
desired but not required); strong Cost Accounting background;
experience in period-end financial closes. CPA or CMA
desired but not required. Master's degree preferred.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
(Excel and Word). Excellent verbal and written communications
skills required. Working knowledge of J D Edwards and
the various modules interfacing with the general ledger
is desired, but not required. Have the ability to meet
strict deadlines in a dynamic environment and be able
to prioritize tasks.

team to support business decisions.

Senior Manager/Associate Director
Finance
A well known branded pharmaceutical company in New
Jersey seeks a Finance professional to support day-to-day
activities of accounting for Direct Research Costs ("DRC").
Monitor financial controls in the Drug Development process.
Prepare budgets, report variances and provide financial
expertise and assistance to the Director of Finance.
Support study teams by providing business expertise
in the negotiation and review of clinical study contracts,
change orders consulting agreements and investigator
sites. Responsible for the development and compilation
of all financial reports to DRC including actual, forecast
and business plan data, as well as reporting formats.
Responsible for the implementation and testing of internal
controls of clinical study financial data, pursuant
to Congressional legislation as per the Sarbanes-Oxley
Act. Compile reports of payments made to physicians
as it relates to compliance with SOPs, policies, laws
and regulations.
BS in Accounting or Finance with 8-10 years experience
required; 3+ years pharmaceutical experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with
tight deadlines. Must be able to function in a team
environment and independently. Knowledge of SAP and
TM1 a plus.
